2020 Chevrolet Era By Yana Briggs (Video)

2020 Chevrolet Era, Future car
Big automobile companies aren’t usually associated with projects that warm the hearts of environmentalists but this General Motors-sponsored project is truly a breath of fresh air in more than one ways. Conceptualized by Lithuania-born Yana Briggs, the 2020 Chevrolet Era has been nicknamed the “Cleaner” by its designer and comes packed with some awesome planet-friendly features.

The 2 + 2 design proposes to have active light collector panels housed on the top of it while the model’s concave spherical surface would maximize the available area to the panels that would absorb sunlight to generate electricity to power the beast.

Streamlined lights placed along the car’s sides would indicate the charging process while a built-in O2 filter exhaust oxygen renewal system would cleanse the incoming polluted air as you drive.

The Era would also feature diamond jewelry-inspired LED headlight detail that would give it a chic softness. Whether the Art Center College of Design graduate actually gets to see this gem of a car winning the next World Solar Challenge soon or not, her motto for the design “Do What’s Overdue!” certainly promises great things for the future of ecofriendly cars!

. Blue Dream II-Green Superyacht By Aras Kazara

Blue Dream II-Green, Superyacht, Aras Kazara
Yachts have always been known for their eminence, catering to the proverbial ‘high’ society historically, since Charles II of England selected this vessel of choice on his return to Britain from Holland, for his restoration. And now it will take the eminent and rather important ‘green’ step forward, with innovative conceptions such as Blue Dream II-Green coming into the market.

Designed by Aras Kazar, this 67m long marine craft will feature a simplistic exterior, which would be rather in stark contrast with its ostentatious interior. Constructed from steel and aluminum, the four deck superyacht will have a capacity for 12 guests including her owner and captain. The spatial zoning will be efficiently envisaged with two guest suites situated on the main deck and a further two suites on the lower deck for up to six guests. The master suite will incorporate a plethora of luxury elements like a private office, a bar and even a Jacuzzi. The main deck will be divided into a main lounge area, a formal dining/conference room, a library, a gym and two Jacuzzis. The interior color combination is touted to be chocolate brown with a pristine white theme.

Now moving on to the sustainable elements, the craft will feature an advanced array of solar panels. The exterior will be designed in such a way so as to allow the optimum usage of clean solar energy for all the on-board facilities and systems. Aras Kazar says:
“Blue Dream II is an environment friendly yacht that will generate 100 per sent of its electricity from the sun. The superyacht has been designed to provide 360 degree views of the ocean thanks to large windows.”

The performance specs are estimated to be as follows – the yacht will have a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising range of 2,500 nm at 20 knots.

Lotus Flower Concept Car By Yi Guo

Lotus Flower, Future Car, Yi Guo
The Chinese are a race known for their extreme knowledge in every field. They excel in whatever they do and they are the leading country today, developed and looking for more development. The recent discovery however, is by Yi GUO, a young boy who is a budding talent in the automobile industry. His creation is inspired by the structure of the lotus flower! The concept of building a car based on the structure of this flower is something only they can do. The purpose of this is to solve lots of parking issues taking into consideration the near future. Lotus flower gains power from electric wheel motor in the back wheel and this structure too is inspired by lotus flower petal. By creating a compact car like this, he is trying to sort traffic jams across the city.

The sole motive behind building this car is to reduce the traffic jams that cause congestion in the city. The plan is not only to make these lotus cars but also to have separate provision for parking them. This means that the parking slots for lotus cars will be different; facing the sun so that the cars get charged. This takes less of space as the car in itself is quite sleek. The initiative is being taken so that there is more space to drive on the roads of crowded places like Shanghai and Beijing.

This concept may turn out to be very expensive as a lot of infrastructure will be needed to make room for lotus parking. Another expense would be of the solar panels that are needed to charge these kind of cars.

To have a vision is one thing and to execute it is another. If Yi GUO feels the need to bring about the concept of the lotus car, it is only keeping in mind the reduction in traffic jams once this hits the market. The lotus shape will just prove beneficial in the near future by consuming less parking space and in turn reducing jams on the roads.
